Understanding the Core Dependencies

The service relies on a stable internet connection, either through Wi-Fi or cellular data, to transmit your coordinates. Furthermore, the feature is entirely dependent on Location Services being enabled at the system level. If your iPhone cannot determine where you are, it cannot share that information with anyone else.
Network and Signal Barriers
